You know, maybe I should double check my own spine before gallivanting about someone else's. Let me start this off; we were going Christmas tree shopping, Skyler and I, and we found this tie-dye tree. I am a sensible woman, I say no, it's not normal, let's move on.

This is why you shouldn't wish for a smart child:

She brings up this talk I had with her about not seeing differences but similarties. Don't notice what is different, but what is the same. Crazy girl, she brings up that is a tree, and looks like a tree.

iMaldição! How does she get me on that? Now I have this crazy-colored tree, and I tease Allie about giving in on the puppy. To all parents out there: How do you keep from being outwitted like that?

Side note to Ayiana: At least it's not a Hello Kitty! tree. :)

One thing about becoming an American? You realize different holidays here, like this Thanksgiving coming up. It must be important because they play American-football and cook a meal to over feed each person by two helpings, yet it is overshadowed by Christmas? I remember first coming here, and trying to figure out why it was considered a great thing to celebrate if you have the Santa Claus standing taller, bigger, and nicer looking than the turkey. Now I get it, been here long enough to get it, and I actually enjoy it.

But this is just an open ended question. I get why children want to put out Christmas things so early, but adults and retailers? Is America truly terra de dinheiro? Anyway to all ---Happy Thanksgiving!

One thing about parties? You just never know. You throw a bunch of people into a room, provide food, drink, and allow them to dress as whatever, and things can be anything. Like the Pee Wee Herman costume? Excellence. I would never get that creative in my life. Joker and Harley showing up? They looked amazing, and for our writers well ... seeing them in a non-work enviroment, you realize just about how much stress they deal with and how they are able to seperate themselves from it. Big Plus.

As for Mr. Cocky, I sure didn't see him show up. Shame for all talk. I was so hoping to start counting.

On another note, taking Skyler out trick-or-treating with her dressed as a pretty angel? One of the best memories ever.

History Of Ryder

Linda Nicole Ryder was born on June 6, 1983, with a twin brother. The youngest of seven children, she strived to fit in with all of her brothers in a family deep rooted in religion, tradition, and expectations. While Linda clung to her Catholic roots and tradition when the waves got rocky, she never quite made it to the expectations of her family had in her life, she certainly made her own way.

When her brother Chris left for America the day he turned 18, Linda and Andrew spoke of maybe following him. It was dismissed and they joined the Portuguese Navy. Within the year, Andrew had his sights on the Navalis-Marino, and Linda followed her twin as she always did. Working together they made it to graduation, only for the first mission to have her brother die. The day he was buried was the day she concieved her second child in a forcable encounter. Shame and sorrow seem to follow her, so her CO got her an honorable discharge and Linda ran off to join Chris in America. She named her son after her twin, and worked as a waitress to support them as well as learn English when she met Mace. A highlevel gangster that had Linda mooning, and he seemed to accept her and Andy so much that she got pregnant again. Keith had only been two days old when he died in a rival gunfight. Unable to avenage his death so soon, she left her sons with Craig who had just came to the US, and went into 'government work'.

It ended quickly, and her love for a man which she never saw again was developing in her womb. When Craig died, Chris battled Linda for custody of her two sons and won. Linda was heartbroken, but when she gave birth to Skyler, she refused to screw this up as she had with her sons. She went into small time modeling skits, and worked her way up into the acting world, taking care of her daughter all the way.
